Holy Spirit High School seeks "To Teach As Jesus Did" in order to attain a community of love and hope which will serve as a foundation for the future of the students.

Introduction To Holy Spirit High School

Holy Spirit High School is a Catholic college preparatory secondary school within the Diocese of Camden. The school is under the limited governance of an independent Board of Trustees. The Bishop of Camden bears responsibility for the proper teaching of the Catholic faith, the proper celebration of the sacraments and the overall Catholic identity of the institution. The President/Principal serves as the chief administrative officer of Holy Spirit High School.

The academic program consists of most core courses offered on five ability levels: advanced placement, honors, advanced, college preparatory, and a limited number of general level courses for the non-college bound student. Additional electives are offered in art, business, and music (chorus and instrumental). A Special Needs program which is operated by the Diocese of Camden is located at Holy Spirit and is available for students who require special education. The school operates on an 8 period day with 40 minute classes that meet every day. The school year is divided into 2 semesters.
Mass is celebrated in the school chapel five days a week before the school day begins. The Ministry Department develops spiritual and liturgical programs for the students and staff as well as oversees the development of service projects throughout the school community.
